Pre-race routine:

Nothing out of the ordinary. Granola bar in the morning, some gatorade, and a 5 hr energy.
Event warmup:

Light jog to loosen the muscles. No more than .5 mile at a fairly slow pace. Stretched the legs as well.

Had a little mishap with mounting before line. Had to jump back off, walk across line, and jump back off. Lost a little time there.

Follow the rules. Wait until after the line to mount the bike.

This ride seemed harder than recent ones. Averaged just over 21, which should have been fairly easy. However, seemed like I really had to work for that speed this time.

Disappointed with this run. Based on the first run, and my fitness level, I should have been about 20-30 seconds faster here. Just didn't seem to have the snap in my stride. Thinking it was because of the difficulty of the bike.

I like this race. Close to home, no traffic on the bike. Good race with some fast racers.
