Swim
Comments: Not a good swim. I was 15 out 20 in my AG. My sighting is horrible and I think that had a lot to do with it. Had to stop a few time to figure out where I was and I did end up getting off track a bit. What would you do differently?: Swim straighter. Transition 1
Comments: Not a bad transition considering I had a wetsuit on and we had a long run out of the water. Bike
Comments: Overall I was really happy with my bike. Being from Wilmington we don't have the hills to train on but I felt like I was able to tackle them pretty well. I was second in my AG and that felt awesome. Passed a few gals in my AG along the way. Transition 2
Run
Comments: I felt FANSTASTIC on the run and didn't even look at my watch. I just ran. Probably the best run I have had since my hip injury. I felt like I 2nd place. What would you do differently?: Nothing...I gave it my all. Post race
Warm down: Ran back to meet Scott on the run course with John and Erin. What limited your ability to perform faster: My Swim...horrible. Event comments: Set Up Events did a great job as usual! Last updated: 2011-10-04 12:00 AM

We stayed in a house in Seven Lakes which is about 15 miles from the race site. I overslept but still had enough time to get ready. Had some oatmeal and a coffee and then Scott and I were on our following the rest of the gang.
Arrived before the race in time to warm up with a run. The air was cool and so warming was definately needed. We had picked up our packets the night before so it was a relaxing race morning.
