Run
Comments: Was really cold in the morning, was wearing a compression tee, long sleeve tech tee, then running jacket. Should have taken jacket off during the middle of the run to cool off a little better, but didn't bother. Also using the racing belt got in the way with the back pocket of my jacket and couldn't get to my GU very easily. Overall pace was MUCH faster than my training, so I am very pleased with the outcome. What would you do differently?: Use butt pack to store GU in and maybe my iphone in versus using the armband. Warm down: Walking it off, drinking tons of water, then eat breakfast, topping it off with the famous ice-cream sundae! :) What limited your ability to perform faster: Not doing speed workouts enough. Had to drive 35 minutes to the race. Got up ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, with water, then off I went.
Light stretch and took GU.
