Up at 4:30, rolling by 4:45, parked and at transition by about 5:40. Mocha and chocolate chip cookies in the car.

Comments:

1:54/100yd including the long run to transition. A shade faster than last year!!! The stroke felt good for the first tri back from the crash. This was purely due to technique, not from fitness.

Not much, just swim more.

Felt good, pushed hard, but was .45mph slower than last year. A good measure of how my recovery is doing.

Just a shade of my slower time this year was in the saddle.

Felt comfortable, but not strong relative to last season. A lot slower than last year's 7:13. I see room for improvement!

Most of my difference from last year was from running.
