Swim
Comments: 1:54/100yd including the long run to transition. A shade faster than last year!!! The stroke felt good for the first tri back from the crash. This was purely due to technique, not from fitness. What would you do differently?: Not much, just swim more. Transition 1
Comments: 7th in AG. Went fine. Slower than last year's 2:08. Bike
Comments: Felt good, pushed hard, but was .45mph slower than last year. A good measure of how my recovery is doing. Just a shade of my slower time this year was in the saddle. Transition 2
Comments: 5th in AG. Slower than last year's 1:14. What would you do differently?: I need to pick up the run. Run
Comments: Felt comfortable, but not strong relative to last season. A lot slower than last year's 7:13. I see room for improvement! Most of my difference from last year was from running. Post race
Warm down: Snacking, packing up, checking results. Event comments: The promoters do an excellent job with the Desert tris! Here are the AG results: http://raceresults.eternaltiming.com/index.cfm/20120303_Desert_Tria... http://tinyurl.com/83t4ex8 Last updated: 2011-10-13 12:00 AM
