Comments:

Goal was to get under 20 min - very close. Ran w/ Matt Call. After mile 2, he picked up the pace since we were behind. My race plan was to not worry about that and kick strong the last 1/2 mile - decided to try to keep up. Not sure if it hurt me or not - was struggling the last 3/4 miles, but had a decent kick on the final straightaway.
What would you do differently?:

Stick to my game plan - run my own race, not worrying about others.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Could train more specifically for the 5k, but my priority race is a sprint tri next weekend.

Event comments:

Have done the 10k twice - this was my first time for the 5k. Great race! I'm always glad I did it. Awesome finishing in Bronco Stadium.
