Swim
Comments: My swim time is quite slow than I expected. My guess was it would be around 7:30 to 40 but 8:45. Seems like there is one minute addition in my swim lap (I will talk this later in the running part). I passed five people in front me. Seems like seeding didn't work very well. People tend to put their best 100yd time instead of actually time they can do at the 400yd race. Transition 1
Comments: trouble to get the upper tri suit because my body was wet. I decided not to wear the upper suit during swimming because I felt it parachuting during swimming. Bike shoes were on the pedals so I ran barefoot and jumped to the bike. On the way to go, I put the shoes on. I would say it worked 75% well. What would you do differently?: One piece trisuit. Bike
Comments: Nice riding. I rode the course a week ago. The course was just right. Hills were not brutal. I passed a good numbers of people in the hills. What would you do differently?: need more time on the saddle. Transition 2
Comments: took off the bike shoes on the bike and jumped off. It went well. I struggled to clip my race belt, I don't know why. Also I laced shoes too tight to wear at one time. I did wrong turn to run out. Run
Comments: Running was good. I felt good. A lady was running behind me all the way and she asked me my running time. The running was faster than I thought. I felt one minute might have been added to my swimming time and subtracted from my running time. What would you do differently?: well, due to my liable knees, I am fine at this pace. Post race
Event comments: I left earlier after the race because of the aggies football game at noon. My friend who raced there messaged me I won the 3rd place at my age group. Amazing! I never been within top three. I checked my time and found that speedy characters in my group did not show up at this race. Anyway I won the 3rd.
