up early, coffee, cheerios w/ skim, water en route, half a Clif bar about 30 mins before the run

a little stretch, jog from car to community ctr, 2 puffs albuterol, met friends

L ankle, R knee, R ham/glut fairly uncomfortable throughout; shoes great, tights very cosy, warmed up in the sunshine and took off hat-gloves-jacket; toes were numb the whole timej

Warm down:

trotted right back to the car after the finish, a little stretching, directly home to start cooking Thanksgiving dinner.


What limited your ability to perform faster:

novice runner

trying not to be discouraged by finishing in the bottom 10% of the field, as I've been running for less than a year; this was my fastest 5-mile stint ever!!
very happy overall
