Jumped in the pool and swam 400 yards for warm up.
Swim
  • 09m 54s
  • 440 yards
  • 02m 15s / 100 yards
Comments:

Great swim today. Felt good during the entire swim. Think the difference today was that I got in the pool and warmed up prior to swim.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing.
Transition 1
  • 01m 41s
Comments:

Pretty good transition. Again had trouble getting pedals to lock in once on bike. No other troubles though.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing really except maybe try to slip into shoes while on bike.
Bike
  • 48m 19s
  • 13.22 miles
  • 16.42 mile/hr
Comments:

Rode hard today. Put forth a lot of effort on the bike today and as a result my run really suffered.
What would you do differently?:

More brick workouts to get used to running off of the bike. Need to work more on the bike too.
Transition 2
  • 00m 53s
Comments:

Awesome T2. Only 6 other guys in my age group had a faster T2.
What would you do differently?:

Not a thing.
Run
  • 32m 17s
  • 3.11 miles
  • 10m 23s  min/mile
Comments:

My run suffered today because I pushed the bike so hard. My legs were extremely fatigued during the run. Got really hot during the run today too. Run course was relatively easy because it was flat but was just fatigued.
What would you do differently?:

More brick workouts.
Post race
Warm down:

Light stretching and hanging out with my family.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Burned out and fatiged on the run. If I would have been able to run my normal 5K pace I would have PR'd. Next year.

Event comments:

Love the Tremont Triathalon!. Great course. Very organized. Lots of volunteers. And best of all finisher medals for all. This will be a race to put on the calendar every year!
