Pre-race routine:

Woke up late! Just didn't hear the alarm. If Iche didn't call, I would have missed it. Rushed out, ended up getting there with plenty of time. Crowded all around start area, just went to baggage check. Tried to get to bathroom, but ran out of time.
Event warmup:

No warmup. Walking back and forth. Got a pretty decent start position considering the crowds. Didn't drink before start.

Comments:

Didn't start off feeling great. Felt I was dehydrated as I only found 1 water station at start. 1st water stop was at 3rd mile. First few miles were slow. Weather was humid. First few miles were close to 8 mpm. But as the miles clicked off, and I made sure to drink a lot at each stop, I actually started feeling better. Picked up the pace as the race went on. I was really pushing the last 3-4 miles, especially the last 2 to try to get under 1:40. Nevertheless, can't complain.
What would you do differently?:

Get there on time, bring water, eat, get to the bathroom. Training wise, more tempo runs.

Warm down:

No warmdown other than walking all over the place.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Drinking water at the start. Probably need more tempo runs too.

Well organized, needed more water at the start. Good race.
