Comments: I'm training for a marathon right now and am training through this race with no real taper. Good thing was the week leading up to the race was a rest week, but I still don't think I was 100%. For the first 10mi I kept a 6:50-6:55 pace. After that I started fading a little and couldn't hold that pace anymore. I think I dropped down to 7:05 and then 7:10. I finished as strong as I could. I was slightly disappointed with my time but the 1st place AG win made me forget about it! What would you do differently?: It wasn't an "A" race and I was training through it so, of course, I'd taper for a race of more importance. Post race
Warm down: Walked around the finish area staying on my feet waiting for friends to finish. What limited your ability to perform faster: No taper. Event comments: Great race! I give it a 4 since it wasn't that scenic, but other than that they put on a good race. Last updated: 2011-11-13 12:00 AM
