Comments: I have a race recap in my blog and it would just be easier to link to it so here ya go http://journey2im.blogspot.com/ What would you do differently?: I'm not sure what happened, I really do feel I'm capable of doing better...at least a 3:15. It's possible that I didn't get enough fluids and electrolyte through the first half of the race since I was a little worried about having too much. Post race
Warm down: Just walking around, went to get the post race pizza that hit the spot, waited for my brother and friend to finish. What limited your ability to perform faster: Decision making Event comments: I really like this race, very well organized with lots of volunteers, spectators, and entertainment along the course. Woke up at 4am and had 2 servings of oatmeal, a banana, coffee, and sipped on Fluid Performance until race time. Also took one GU 10min before the start.
We were running a little later than I'd like so I just did a quick run with some speed to get my heart rate up a little. Also a little bit of stretching.
