Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 5:15am, got dressed, had a Clif bar and water. Walked to Boston Common to board bus to start. Left Boston on bus around 7am, arrived in Hopkinton around 8am. Used Portapotty, ate a bagel, drank more water and talked to other racers.

Comments:

It was brutal!! The heat was bad but coupled with my cold, it just kicked my butt! I had no energy after mile 10 and had to continually talk myself into finishing the race.
What would you do differently?:

Not get sick the week before a marathon!

Walked back to hotel.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

The heat and the cold! Nice contradiction but its correct.

Event comments:

I will be back in 2014 and will not allow myself to be sick!!!
