Pre-race routine:

Had a rasin bagel and 500ml of Gatorade, and triple checked my gear

Overall, the course was great, a few pot holes, but this is Winnipeg and its expected. I would recommend that there be a few more water station available as I found myself needing more water. They were position every 3 miles and I would like to see them ever 2.
What would you do differently?:

Next time I think I'm going to take racing more seriously, I really didn't tapper much, just on Friday Satuday, and didn't hydrate myself on Satruday nor did I carb load. I just took it as another race and I would say I wasn't 100% ready at the start. I knew I could do it, but if I really wanted to meet my 1:50 goal, I should of been more careful

Warm down:

Cheered on other teammates and got some breakfest that was provided. Stayed for the award ceremony.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

The lack of tappering, and lack of nutrition the few days prior.

Course: The course was great, there were two out and back, and this was great as it divided the race into two segments. Mentally it was great as it allowed you to break the race in 4 segments.
