Pre-race routine:

caught fisrt bus up the canyon. had time for coffee and scope out the race beginning
Event warmup:

stretches about an hour before race start
Winds were brutal and strong enough to blow over several port-a potties

not in very good shape to run this. Blister developed on left foot by milefour so running and walking was painful
What would you do differently?:

train more. not try out untested socks on race day

lack on training and bad socks

good race and a lot of fun. I was just under prepared
