Pre-race routine:

Get little to no sleep. Wait in a parking lot to pick up van.
Event warmup:

Wake up and get my wife on the road for Van 1.
drive to stop 6 to meet van 1 with van 2.

Comments:

How can I describe the ragnar. I was hot, cold, ran in dark and light. Ate, drank and slept in a van and shouted at strangers though a megaphone. I also spent at least 30 minutes trying to stick stickers on other people/cars and running gear.
I had a great race personally, except for one extra leg I ran that was really tough on me-I felt like I had to work hard for a 9:30 pace.
Running to the sunset at the finish was AWESOME.
What would you do differently?:

Plan the van switch and hotel sleeping better.

Warm down:

Stand around getting cold till I found the beer tent.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Teammates and coordination.

Event comments:

The race was great. I didn't make it to anything but the cheap barbecue at the finish, but I thought that was good too.

OK, I had 3 legs of my own, and also picked up a leg for an injured runner.
Course: Long haul from Miami to Key west. I had legs 11-12, 23-24 and 35-36 I think. We had an ultra team.
