Pre-race routine:

Got to site about 6:15, early enough to get a parking spot up close, picked up my race packet, got back in my warm car, and just relaxed.
Event warmup:

At 7:00 I drank a bottle of gatorade, to make shure I had fluids flowing through my body. About 30 minutes prior to race start, I got out of my warm car, walked around and stretched a little for about 15 minutes.

Comments:

I was well rested and well hydrated. Very proud of my performance.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing, I was well prepared both physically and mentally.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around after sharing hugs with my wife and kids.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Nothing, I did the best that I could.

Event comments:

It was my first half marathon, and only my second race, but I found it to be well organized with ample volunteers. A good atmosphere with good people.
