Pre-race routine:

Up at 5, ate a bagel with PB and on the road around 5:45. Arrived really early (around 6:25), grabbed my packet, and moved my car to the recommended parking area (seemed like I could have just left it in the school lot where I parked upon arrival since a lot of others did. Oh well)
Event warmup:

Just some light stretching. Standed waiting for the start for a few minutes more than I expected, but the legs didn't feel too stiff when race started.

Comments:

Ran as part of half/full ironman training, so my focus was on trying to keep the heart rate in upper Z2 without getting too fatigued. Did a pretty good job of that, with a little extra effort the last few miles, especially the last 1. Felt pretty good overall with a little more tiredness in the legs than would have been ideal. No speed records set but the legs felt ok and nothing really hurt.
Post race
Warm down:

Ate a banana and 1/2 bagel, grabbed a few other snacks and jogged back to the car (~.5mi). Stretched at the car for a few minutes and headed home.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Winter weight and not enough time at the 10 mile distance recently.

Event comments:

Overall a well run race, especially for just being its second year. Nice course, shirts, and post-race food. Not an ideal parking situation, but the trolley that they had setup worked nicely.
