Pre-race routine:

We took an Ensure about two hours prior the start. Drank alot of water. Rested in cabin after getting transition area set-up. I will not take Ensure again prior to a race, it gave me nausea!

Wetsuit got stuck on my heels. I tried to relax and do one thing at a time. Just tried to forget my HORRIBLE swim!

Heart rate never got above 135bpm on the bike. I followed the pacing doc. to the letter. I got to mile 40 feeling good and never looked back!

I tried to save myself for the last three miles. But by the time I got there I did'nt have enough left to kick into another gear.HR was around 140bpm the entire run.
Course: Flat. Course was a little tight . Hot very hot!
