Swim
Comments: sighting was perfect, got close to every buoy. What would you do differently?: nothing I can think of Transition 1
Comments: long run to transition. speed suit was easy to get off and just got into my shoes and took off. What would you do differently?: nothing. Bike
Comments: rode very hard, averaged around 260w and got good results What would you do differently?: nothing Transition 2
Comments: feet were soaked so I had a hard time getting into my shoes so I lost a few seconds there. grabbed my stuff and dropped a gel while trying to get in my pocket so that cost me a few seconds too. What would you do differently?: definitely taking the time to put socks on next time, blistered the backs of my feet. Run
Comments: ran tempo pace. run seems long due to the layout. blistered the back of my feet with no socks and the timing chip strap cut into my leg the entire time. next time i won't forget my chip band. What would you do differently?: run faster :) maybe do more speed work next year. Post race
Warm down: walked a little bit, had some pizza and took my time gathering my gear. What limited your ability to perform faster: run/swim speed skills. just need to get more efficient on both legs. Event comments: Great race. I would recommend to anyone. All phases are challenging but none are really hard. Last updated: 2012-01-04 12:00 AM
