Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 4. Had breakfast & coffee. Contemplated the weather and decided it would be warm enough by the start to not wear tights.
Event warmup:

Jogged around for about 10 minutes about 30 minutes from the start.

Comments:

The corral area was not well organized. Spectators were mixed into the runner's area throughout. The first few miles were very badly congested as were the parts of the course that went through the river trail.
What would you do differently?:

Seed myself further up to try and avoid as many walkers as possible.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around and stretched out a bit. Ate my weight in cookies from the post race food.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Around mile 7 my stomach just wasn't feeling right, although I don't think it actually hindered my running. Mile 11 I tried to go into the pain cave but could only stay in for a short while and then I had to back it off. Need to figure out a way to stay in there for the last few miles at least.

Event comments:

Good post race food. Cookie buffet... nuff said.
