Comments:

I was able to stick to my plan pretty well today and ended up with a 33 second 10K PR. So I'm quite happy. Perfect running weather, cloudy and 52°. The first 3.5 miles is mostly uphill. My plan was to not push it too hard, but to stay strong, trying to keep my pace between 8:43 and 9:00. Then once I started the decent, I was able to catch my breath quickly and pick up the pace down the hills. I new I was close to getting a new PR and tried to keep going strong through the finish.
Fun race, but very crowded. I'm glad I came with some people who've done it before and could help me figure out where to go.
What would you do differently?:

Push a little harder the whole time, just a little bit.
Post race
Warm down:

Walking around looking for Martha.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not much.

Event comments:

Good race, but really crowded start. It thinned out comfortably after a half mile.
