Got up a 4:30am. Loaded bike and gear. Ate a bagel with p-nut butter. Someone ate my banana so Ihad yogurt instead.

I did not enjoy running on the grass, I was worried about my ankle and found myself staring at the ground to much. I didn't get a good pace going until the second lap so my overall run was pretty slow for me,

Event comments:

This is still a pretty small race so expectations shouldn't be too high. However, Set-up always puts on a good race so you can be sure it is well organized and planned out. Food was just OK. I really like the cowbell trophies. Wish I would have won one but my AG was stacked and I didn't perform well enough anyway. I am just glad for the opportunity to race since I missed my Jun and Jul races.
