Stretched; then loaded gear up an took it down to the transition area; Warmed up in the lake before the event

Swim was smooth; had to hesitat twice to let water out of googles
What would you do differently?:

left lens of the goggles filled up with water requiring me to stop twice. Not sure why they did this. Might have been able to go under 10 minutes if I had not had to stop.

Everything was soaked; no problems getting wetsuit off at all this year

THought trans went well for me just have to be speedier

Used my fathers madone bike I had ridden a number times so felt comfortable
What would you do differently?:

Lost the chain off the chain ring requiring me to pull off the road to fix it. Found out this was most likely from the wheel not being aligned correctly

THis was actually a very poor performance for myself. Would normally go around 33 minutes. Legs were gone and my heart monitor was reading a 200+ hr...not sure about how accurate it was. But since I am a diabetic and high blood pressure,,,and you get the idea. THought it best to take it easy
What would you do differently?:

Continue to traing at running; I believe the bet traing would be to practice bricks
