Swim
Comments: Pool was a little warmer than I am used to. Didn't stay as calm as would have liked. Transition 1
Comments: Saved over a minute and a half off last year's time by having tri top rather than having to put a top on my wet body, and having a number belt rather than pinned on shirt. Last year my number ripped off twice during T1 Bike
Comments: Felt pretty good on the bike. WInd was brutal on the way back into town. Felt a little defeated when I guy on a brand new "Specialized" bike with clip pedals passed me at about mile 3. Felt much better when caught sight of him again about mile 10 and blew past him at mile 12. Something to be said for pacing. Transition 2
Comments: Made executive decision to go without socks on the run. Worked out pretty good no complaints. Run
Comments: Had a former student teacher of mine blast past me about 200 yds from finish. I'm very happy for him as it was his first Tri. Gotta find a way to speed up my run. I'm very sick of getting passed on run. BLAAAAHHHHHGGGGGGGG Post race
Warm down: Walked around. Eat oranges and drank powerade. Tried not to lose lunch What limited your ability to perform faster: I run like a slug. Hee Hee Event comments: Very well run Triathlon. Lots of volunteers. Last updated: 2006-05-08 12:00 AM

Did a light warm-up on bike and in pool. Warm-up in pool didn't feel as good as I would have liked. I may have carried some of that anxiety into the race with me.
