Pre-race routine:

Our start time was 10am, so we were able to sleep on our own beds the night before. Got up around 5:15am, showered, ate a little breakfast, and packed the last few items I needed. Met the rest of the van at 6:30am. Everyone was on-time and we got the van packed up and proceeded to Logan. Stopped along the way for drinks and to re-tape the straps to the top box.
Event warmup:

At the start we checked in, got our bibs and swag bag with shirts. They gave us a roll of TP, funny. We all put our Ragnar tattoos on, and ate a bit of free bread. Once our first runner started (Adam) we went back to the van and decorated it before heading out.

Comments:

Very proud of myself!
What would you do differently?:

Actually, nothing. Except maybe not pack so much. But I felt well-prepared and don't think the race could have gone any better from my perspective.
Post race
Warm down:

Lots of eating! Once our van was done we went to Cafe Rio, then to the stadium to wait for the rest of our team.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Just need to run more, but I was very happy with my runs.

Event comments:

EXCELLENT race. Well staffed, course well marked. The only problem is we started too late for our team pace, so we ended pretty late. Van 2 was allowed to start their last leg before we finished our last legs. Out team time was about 36 hours.

Course: I was Runner 3. First leg was mostly flat but trended uphill. Noonish, so warm but not hot. Was nice that many people had sprinklers out. Got an otter pop :-) Felt good at end. Second leg was at night, around midnight. Again flat but trended uphill. GORGEOUS night, cool not cold, clear starry sky. The fast teams were passing like crazy. Got a little bit of sleep at Emily's friend's house before third leg. Last leg started downhill, then back uphill. I felt great, took some Gu before and during the run. I was flying on a runner's high :-) Loved the aid stations, soaked myself in cold water each time.
