What would you do differently?:

Bullshit on the entry time, was ranked 32 on start time and overall rank was 14th even though I was within 4 seconds of submitted time.

Tieing up shoes and putting on shorts probably took the time.

Get velcro cycle shoes or elastic laces.

Get a tri suit.

Pace was slightly faster than I trained at but felt slow.

Could hardly call it a sprint but picked up the pace in last 50 metres, got to the end and felt like I could have run at the faster pace for longer. But did get a slight stitch during run, can't remember when or if it went away.

Got lower intestine ache that I have had in some training. Had blammed it on Gatorade, but didn't touch it during race, just had water. Could have been a not fully emptied bladder at start.

What would you do differently?:

Try and go for a last minute nervous pee.
