Comments: Typical swim for me. Only my third open water swim, and longest distance OWS. I felt much more comfortable sighting... now if I could get faster that would be great. What would you do differently?: More training OWS Transition 1
Comments: Fast transition for me. Especially since I felt that I slacked on the trainig for transitions. What would you do differently?: Get my foot in my shoes faster after mount. Bike
Comments: Fast bike for me, and I paid for it on the run. I think I went out too hard, but I was impressed with my ability to stay in my bars and hammer as well as I did. What would you do differently?: Take a little off the speed, or train harder on my bricks. Transition 2
Comments: I felt a little slow getting into my running shoes. What would you do differently?: Practice more transitions Run
Comments: My legs were beat. I could feel my quads cramping during the last 800m What would you do differently?: Train harder Post race
Warm down: Walk and Stretch What limited your ability to perform faster: Training schedule was derailed at the end due to closing on a house. Event comments: Good race. Transition Set up in warm up jacket and pants. Run to car from transition arean in jacket and pants. Shed pants and ran back to transition with jacket. Shed jacket, plyometrics, strides. Swim approximately 100 meters.
