Comments: This was a training race, but got sick 3 weeks ago. One run in 3 weeks leading up to race. What would you do differently?: More training, not get sick, more stretching!! Calves got tight, then started cramping. Some Achilles pain in both legs. Post race
Warm down: Stretching and walking. What limited your ability to perform faster: Not in shape, tightness and cramps in calves and Achilles. Event comments: Great race, especially considering I was out of shape and had some leg pain. My goal was sub 10 min miles and I barely made that. Good race overall given these factors.
