The legs felt better than at Sooke despite a bruised toe and still injured right side. I could have pushed more, but didn't want to wreck my knee.

Warm down:

Short jog, then walking and light static stretches.

Event comments:

Times are estimates because the race wasn't officially timed and I didn't wear a watch. I was in the first of two heats, so I ended up finishing first overall, and felt comfortable at the finish. Fun race with everyone from the Y group. Great afterparty at Jan/Ken's place. I won a backpack and a one hour massage from Kimmie!!! Of all the prizes there, I got the best one!
