Pre-race routine:

Up two hours prior to the start of the race. Ate oatmeal w/cranberries and drank a few sips of powerade and coffee. Stretched then walked the mile to the starting point.

Felt so GREAT for the first 6 miles it did not even feel like I had run that far!!

Event comments:

As my third Cowtown this was the best one yet! There were TONS of supporters, officers and spectators! The process of getting into the corral's went MUCH smoother than last year; the water stations were well manned; the process to pick up the after race food/tshirt and the like was MUCH better than last year. Overall, very impressed!
The ONLY downside I can say is that the pre-race goody bag is pretty lame for the 2nd year in a row!
