Run
Comments: Well paced run, I'm not surprised with the lack of speed given I've done zero anaerobic work while training for IMLP What would you do differently?: Nothing Transition 1
Comments: Fumbled a tiny bit with a shoe but otherwise a very clean transition What would you do differently?: Don't fumble the shoe Bike
Comments: Well controlled pace for the most part. Hit the bottom of the hill feeling pretty good and I used that to take over a bunch of people during the the climb. Kept a strong pace to the finish while saving enough for the run. What would you do differently?: Not much Transition 2
Comments: Very fast, 2nd fastest T2 in the race (by only .003, only because I had to readjust my rack) What would you do differently?: Nothing Run
Comments: Beat my first run thanks to great pacing. Passed all those I could see and finished strong. What would you do differently?: Nothing Post race
Warm down: Walked a bit and stretched What limited your ability to perform faster: Ironman training doesn't really include sprint work, but I'm still happy with this result. Event comments: I always enjoy this event, run by a great group and for the size they have impressive post race food. Last updated: 2012-02-28 12:00 AM

Had a bowl of cereal then drove down to the race. Ate a gel about 30 minutes before the start.
Easy spin on the run course
