Swim
Comments: cold before going in moment my head hit the water goggles filled up with water. I got tired to quickly. I took time at the end of the pool to get my breath quicker then planed, but took a few moments to do so What would you do differently?: check goggles and work through the tired. this was an average swim for me, not a good swimm overall. Transition 1
Comments: took time to put right clothes on, it was cold on course and heavy wind being cold was not and option What would you do differently?: go faster and not Bike
Comments: I studied the map before going out it helped. my pace started ok was good and i got tired toward the end i passed about 15 people and didn't get passed. wind was all over the place What would you do differently?: nothing Transition 2
Comments: t2 was quick took jacket and bike shoes off quickly no issues What would you do differently?: no problems i was prepared Run
Comments: my back hurt so bad i had to stop at one point to walk a few steps and at another i wasn't sure of the course and walked a few steps, but i ran through the pains in my back and in my shins for a great run, at about 2 1/2 miles all the pain went away and I hit my stride and made up time and finished very strong. What would you do differently?: i dont know Post race
Warm down: walk and drank water and ate What limited your ability to perform faster: 1)bad swimming ability 2) wind on the bike course 3) to long in T1 4) back hurting during the run 5) mediocre bike abilities biking needs work Event comments: Because it was windy cold and the medals were 3 hours after i finished i left to get food and finish the rest of my day with family Last updated: 2012-03-03 12:00 AM
