Comments: Legs decidedly hurting What would you do differently?: Not go as strong on the bike in order to have a better run. Post race
Warm down: walked, got a banana, turkey sandwich What limited your ability to perform faster: lack of taper (was training through this race) Event comments: It was a nice race for the course and area. The race got started late due to an issue with the clock. The start of the 2nd wave was not clearly defined. All the starts were done by someone yelling 'on your mark, get set, go' There needed to be a starter pistol. No liquids on the course except one aid station on the run. Ate Luna bar, 6 shot bloks, glazed donut, 2 servings of Amp energy booster, 20 oz coffee
(Def fill up on too much - stomach still felt full at race start). Skip the donut, the shot bloks, and only have 1 serving of the energy drink (Essentially my normal AM routine)
Stretched, did 20 push ups, 20 jumpinking jacks, 20 burpees, stretched again. Put on wet suit and swam about 300 meters easy.
