Tough day. The wind was very strong. Big crosswind gusts at times, especially on the bridges.
Enthusiastic aid stations.
Paced well, tried not to push in the first half. Passed several people in the second half, so I think I paced well on effort.
What would you do differently?:

Get stronger on the bike

Someone was in my rack space, so sorry to who ever's space I had to use. Kept the sunglasses (wasn't planning on it) due to the wind and left the hat. Should have taken the hat for the sweat band and shade on my face.

Felt good, stomach was happy, unlike my last two races.

Ended up walking more than I wanted, not sure why. Time wasn't too bad for all the walking. Tried varying the pace but it didn't help.

Good aid stations. Pepsi and ice and I was happy.
What would you do differently?:

Need to be able to run more/walk less.

Course: Loop course, wind from north-west. Course went south then east before heading west and north into the wind. Nice course, flat except the bridges. Great traffice control by law enforcement and volunteers. Last mile was mostly tailwind so a good way to head into T2.
