Pre-race routine:

getting up at 330 to get to the off site parking by the time the last bus left at 5am. Had 2 bagels with peanut butter and some gatorade

Walked around and tried to stay warm. Air temp was 59 but there was a breeze blowing off and on

Comments:

1st race at this distance.
What would you do differently?:

train more. Hadn't run for 3 weeks prior due to possible stress fracture in foot. Ran 5K Kidney Kare race the day before. Foot hurt but did fine in 1/2 marathon

Event comments:

1st race of this size. Not use to all of the runners throughout the race. I needed to keep up with my hydration better, but next time.
