Swim
Comments: Pool etiquette is something that should probably be addressed. Getting your feet slapped does not mean speed up and wear yourself out. It means "Hey friend, I'm a little faster than you; at your earliest convenience, the end of this lane perhaps, allow me to pass you, to alleviate my crusade of your backside. Thanks." What would you do differently?: Enter my swim time more accurately @ registration and swim more like the guy from Kung-Fu. I will be the Zen-Buddhist of the pool. Transition 1
Comments: First race with the tri bike and I didn't do a face plant, that's a win. What would you do differently?: Practice the ol' shoes already on the pedals trick and a moving mount technique. Bike
Comments: My bike needs a lot of work, more needs than I could list here, so I'll use the ol' corporate adage: "Do better than you're doing now." What would you do differently?: Lots of things, insert laundry list here: Transition 2
Comments: "Do better than you're doing now." What would you do differently?: Not 'differently' just 'better.' Run
Comments: The course was a little confusing. You end up running one length of the course four times, but no biggey. Plenty of water stations. What would you do differently?: Wear something to catch the sweat. Post race
Warm down: Walk around the transition area. What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of training in specific areas. Event comments: I'll race with Ironhead again. Last updated: 2006-05-14 12:00 AM
