Swim
Comments: Was able to get out in the front of the pack early on which allowed me to avoid alot of the crowd. Had a little trouble sighting which lead to a little longer time than I wanted, but overall I was happy with my time. Transition 1
Bike
Comments: Fastest avg speed for bike leg of any tri! Still have a LONG way to go but was pretty excited to see my split. Transition 2
Run
Comments: Had this not been a trail run, I would've blamed my horrible run on pushing too hard on the bike. The more I think about it, I think it was just the difficult terrain that slowed me down the most. Either way, I felt like I wasn't moving on the run. Yesterday, I was really disappointed with my run time, but the more I think about it, the more I'm okay with it. It was a TOUGH course. Still need to get better here. Post race
Warm down: Sat under the water tent to cool off, which felt amazing. Then lots of fruit and even more pizza. A little disappointed there wasn't any beer, but oh well. What limited your ability to perform faster: The run course. Pretty happy with the swim and bike. Event comments: Overall, enjoyed the race and will probably be back next year. Hope to finish a little better in the AG standings too. Last updated: 2012-03-21 12:00 AM

Stayed at in-laws in Memphis. Woke up 430am, ate bagel with PB and banana. Left around 515, got to racesite around 630, set up transition, picked up chip, got marked.
Hopped on bike to get shoes on, bike in right gear, and make sure everything felt good. Swam to first buoy and back.
