Comments: This is my first time at this distance and I only ran 18 miles in trainging. I was expecting to really hurt after 30 miles but I did not feel any real discomfort until 40 miles, other than an injury that I already had What would you do differently?: Train a little bit better. I never seem to train really good for these long races Post race
Warm down: As soon as I stopped I got stiff. I took a semi warm shower and it was so freakin cold. But when I got home I waS glad I did it. What limited your ability to perform faster: I injured my foot somehow a week or so before the race. It came back first 5 miles of the race. It hurt BAD at times. I am not sure it really slowed me down there. I am just so conservative in these distances sometime too. Event comments: After 50 miles I could barely find anything to eat.
