Swim
Comments: I did not have a panic attack as bad as last time but I did have a bit of a attack, it just takes time to get comfortable, swimming without the suit is better. What would you do differently?: Train more, I really have not been swiming much. Transition 1
Comments: They had to move the swim portion due to weeds in the water, we had to run about +250M from the water to T1, we staged our shoes right at the exit of the swim, I only took the top of my wetsuit off (should have taken it all off) ran in the wetsuit. First my calfs cramped when I went to put the running shoes on. Then running in the suit so far was not pleasant at all What would you do differently?: When I sat down to take my suit off I was out of breath and had no strenght to pull it off around my ankles. I must practice this. Bike
Comments: It was hiller then expected. I cramped a lot or better said felt really uncomfortable in my position. I should have moved the saddle forward. I should have pushed harder this was no stellar effort. What would you do differently?: Change saddle position. In these conditions you only really need one water bottle. Transition 2
Comments: excellent transition What would you do differently?: run faster Run
Comments: I was slower then my best - probably because of the hills. I also had a stitch for about two miles and had to slow down to get rid of it. Post race
Warm down: Some stretches, chatted a lot and eventually got cold and had to go and get some warm clothes. What limited your ability to perform faster: I think this was the end of the season and my body was starting to get tired. Overall I expected to do better. The uncomfortable feel on the bike and stitch did not help. Event comments: Set up Inc hosts some really good raceas and they are very organized. Last updated: 2006-05-14 12:00 AM

Nothing just froze our backsides off, tried to stay warm. Scoped out the route and exits etc
Nothing just stood around in the wetsuit trying to stay warm.
