Got up early, had breakfast and headed down to the race site.
Event warmup:

After setting up transition headed to hang out with some friends while everyone waited for LA to show up. Once the start neared got suited up and jogged down to the swim start.

One of the roughest but most fun swims I've ever done. The waves were huge and at the end of the first lap I was almost scared to go back out.

The wind didn't pick up until my last lap. Overall this bike course is super fast and flat.
What would you do differently?:

Slow down. Even though the bike felt good I think I was going too fast headed into the run.
