Pre-race routine:

Met everyone in the lobby at 6:30 and walked down to the race start.
Event warmup:

Stood in line for the porta pottie, checked a bag and headed to the green corral.

Way too crowded, ran on the sidewalk and the grass for almost all of the race.
What would you do differently?:

Start in an earlier wave.

Warm down:

Met the rest of the group, put on some warm clothes and headed back to the hotel

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Starting in the second to last wave was a mistake. I should have moved up to an earlier wave. I negative split the last half by over 4 minutes and still had plenty left.
