Swim
Comments: Swim REALLY needs more time and work. What would you do differently?: Be better prepared for the swim. Transition 1
Comments: Bike leg starts at the end of swim time, so T1 time is part of bike. What would you do differently?: Speed laces and no socks. I was the last to get on my bike due to putting on socks and lacing up. Bike
What would you do differently?: Push harder and drink more fluids. It was a sauna indoors and caught up with me after the run. Transition 2
Comments: Same as T1. As soon as 30min bike leg was up, straight to run. Because I used my running shoes on the bike, all I had to do was grab my shirt and hat and run out the door. First one on the run course. Run
Comments: Beautifully sunny morning, though wind made it a bit cold coming out of the pool house. Only passed by two people from my wave at about the half way point. Kicked the last 1/4 of the loop, and probably could have run a faster pace overall, but got psyched out thinking about the lacrosse game coming up a few hours later. What would you do differently?: more fluids, warmer shirt, and pushed harder Post race
Warm down: Fluids and Results and Recovery formula. Then shower and off to Portland. What limited your ability to perform faster: SWIM! Event comments: Tons of fun and great atmosphere. Volunteers were amazing and everyone I talked too was having a great time. Last updated: 2012-04-04 12:00 AM

Only about 4 hours of sleep, as drove straight up from Eugene to arrive home at 12am. Up early to prep bike, organize gear and get ready for return trip to Portland right after race. Very tired, but felt better after a Banana-mango Shakeology and PB&J with cuppa joe.
Weigh in and bike rack, then some stretching (was VERY tight from Saturday's driving and lacrosse game). Couple of laps in the pool before start.
