Interestingly enough, I saw a video today of myself pre race. It looks like I like to kick my legs out and shake them. Must be nerves., Didnt know I did this.

Comments:

Really wanted to b reak 1:30. Problem was I didnt know the course at all. I expected it to be very flat. It was not. We ran into the wind the first half and it was overcast. Ran with the wind on the way back and the sun came out. Made it feel extremely hot. Overall the run was fun and I did alright.
What would you do differently?:

I will be back for this next year. The small town reallly rallies around this race. Everyone in the town volunteers. I feel like there was a 1:1 ratio of runner to volunteers. The post race food spread was amazing as well.

Grabbed a bite to eat and headed home

Event comments:

Only hiccup was parking. Last year I beleieve they had 300 or so ruinners in the half and 5k. This year there were over a thousand just for the half. NExt year I expect they will be better prepared
