Run
Comments: See above. Wound up running from refreshment station to refreshment station ... just as motivation. I hurt and it was not fun by the end. What would you do differently?: Listen to my body when it tells me not to run/ train (PF). If not, then properly train. Post race
Warm down: Lots of stretching in cool-down area, but not much more. Couldn't really warm-down. Legs so sore, could barely walk back to the hotel. Foot/ Heel was killing me, legs completely cramped. What limited your ability to perform faster: Improper training and injuries Event comments: Lots of runners, but well organized and run. Not much "backing up" on corners or throughout the race. Just didn't like the run/ course based on the above comments Last updated: 2012-04-15 12:00 AM

Injured with Platar Fasciitis. Did not train properly (longest run was 13-14 miles). Morning of race went well ... bfast at the hotel (bowl of Special K with fruit and yogurt, a pancake, and lot's of water). Even slept well the night before.
Not much warming up. Foot still sore and didn't want to aggravate too much. Lots of stretching, not much running.
