Swim
  • 04m 50s
  • 250 meters
  • 01m 56s / 100 meters
Comments:

Started off too fast, past one person. Got winded and had to regroup. Also need to work on wall
flip and kick off.
What would you do differently?:

Learn to roll and kick off of wall as well as start off a little slower
Transition 1
  • 01m 39s
Comments:

Had shoes clipped in already. One fell off as I attempted to put it on - ended up having to get off bike and put shoes on. Also, ran past bike row and had to double back.
What would you do differently?:

Practice putting shoes on while on bike. Saw someone had shoes tied with 'weak' plastic string. I think it was to keep shoes in place and would break away as pedaling Need to look into it and practice it.
Bike
  • 34m 27s
  • 12 miles
  • 20.90 mile/hr
Comments:

Felt fatigue in legs (57 mile ride 4 days earlier). Needed to get the miles in for my A race which is coming up. But, think I could have held a faster pace with more rest.
Transition 2
  • 00m 45s
Comments:

Stumbled getting bike in groove
What would you do differently?:

Ran with Bike shoes on to transition - may try to run without them and keep shoes clipped in...
Run
  • 21m 14s
  • 3.11 miles
  • 06m 50s  min/mile
Comments:

Took a bit to get my legs back off of the bike. Heavy breathing for much of the run. Not sure if I could have gone much faster or not. Still not sure how long I can go a faster paces and above threshold...

What would you do differently?:

Kicked into higher gear a little earlier - did not do it until final mile
Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster:

Fatigue from training for 'A' race

Event comments:

Wonderful sprint in beautiful neighborhood (biased resident :) ) Well organized. Nice people. Clean facilities. Probably could have delayed some of the swimmers if I were to 'knit-pick".
