Comments:

Goal was a rather ambitious 8:30 miles, previous best was 8:53. Didn't hit that but improved my time by over 1:00 over my last 5K July 05, so it's all good. Slightly faster than the last 3 mile run.

I've got some more base under me, but not a lot of speed, and I feel better after this one than the last, so I just need to keep working

Splits were all just about 8:53-54

More base, more speed, less weight

Event comments:

Per usual, I was initially disappointed my race, but, also per usual, after a couple hours reflection, although I am a bit slower than the end of last season, I am a lot faster than the beginning of last season, which is I think where I should be. EDIT - duh, I am actually a bit faster than the end of last season, so there!

Running through the season will just make my times faster.
