Swim
Comments: Swim sucked for some reason. What would you do differently?: Not much, guess everyone had to do the same... Transition 1
Comments: All transition time for this race was in the bike portion. My transitions today were flawless! What would you do differently?: Nothing! Bike
Comments: Really felt like I aced the bike today! Was really feeling that race from last week but was still able to push through! What would you do differently?: Nothing.... Transition 2
Comments: Oh yeah! What would you do differently?: Nothin'! Run
Comments: Legs were shot but felt I did a great job of dealing with everything today. What would you do differently?: Maybe not do a race the weekend afetr a 1/2 ironman! Lol! Post race
Warm down: Drank alot of water, ate some fruit and waited for results. What limited your ability to perform faster: Racing the weeek before, but felt I handled the situation better than maybe I had anticipated.. Event comments: Always like the Tri-Family races! They do a great job!! I felt anything under 1:45 was a success and was really dialed into 1:42...1:42:39, bout right, I guess:) Felt my bike was quite a bit better than I expected and knew, fresh, I could do sub 8 miles for 4 miles, so came in hoping to run maybe 8:20, 8:30, considering the circumstances. Ended up running 8:41 miles....eh, I'll take this as a good race! Awards were 5 deep in each age group, and I was 6th! Ah! Oh well, I'll keep working hard and things will take care of themselves!
