The usual... wake up take care of the dog, eat breakfast (hard-boiled egg and fruit)
Event warmup:

1/4 mile jog. Was hoping for 1/2 mile, but I arrived later than I wanted due ta lovely little traffic issue this morning.

I felt really good this morning. I was a little tight due to the chill and lack of a proper warm-up, but all was fine after about a 1/2 mile in.
What would you do differently?:

Get there earlier!

Warm down:

Walked around the festival/fair and gave some love to the rescue dogs.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

The chilly weather, but only slightly - makes it hard to breathe.

Event comments:

This was a great race! It was well-run and very organized. The pet-friendly atmosphere added to the fun and the pet "festival/fair" was great afterward. My dog is anxious to try the samples I picked up.
