Comments: I ran with the 2:00 pace group, but had to fall back a bit. I ran a personal best 2:09, shaving 25 minutes off my best at this distance. Must be all of this Ironman training. What would you do differently?: Nothing, was a good race for me. Post race
Warm down: Walk, stretching, ice bath when I got home. What limited your ability to perform faster: More time needed to improve overall run endurance. Event comments: Nice race, great volunteers, great swag, great shirts, medals are nice, post-race snacks were great, plenty of water stops with Gatorade, overall was a great race. Perfect day! Ate a HoneyStinger Waffle, drank some water, went for a 2 mile warm up jog.
