Pre-race routine:

Wife and kids coming along since weather is so nice, boss lady pushing both kids in the stroller for the 5k (51 mins!)

A couple Arrowroot cookies and a coffee for me since we had a big hamburger BBQ the night before.
Event warmup:

Walk from parking lot to Chinook, get potty'd up.

Comments:

Changed again this year. Harder than before. Time was 20-30 seconds slower, but moved up from 61 to 37 position, beating some sub 40 last year dudes. Annoying from a time view but you have to consider the course and the field.

Post race
Warm down:

Lots of milk/juice/yogurt tubes at the end of this race. 15,000 total people and at least 700 volunteers.

Waited around for the little-legs race so my 4 year old could do a 25m dash.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Gravity

Event comments:

Fun yearly race to bring the family. If wife-boss gets into running a bit more, I'll run with the stroller and let her try and do some 5k times.
